LHH is Hiring an Information Technology Technician Near Madison, WI

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT systems for two factories, focusing on network infrastructure, workstation hardware and software, and ERP systems.
  • Set up and maintain various hardware components including internal and external routers, switches, workstations, phones, cameras, and alarm systems.
  • Install and maintain software such as Microsoft Office365, Microsoft Dynamics GP and Salespad, Panatrack, and PDF applications.
  • Act as the first line of investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution for incidents and problems.
  • Provide support to company users for applications like Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, web browsers, and SharePoint, both on cloud and local machines.
  • Maintain machinery used in solar frame production.
  • Possess expertise in Cisco Meraki Firewall Security and Kaspersky antivirus systems.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of enterprise multi-site branch office connectivity via VPN.
  • Conduct daily system monitoring tasks, ensuring the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes. This includes reviewing system and application logs and verifying completion of scheduled jobs, such as Veeam backups.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in IT network, hardware, and software support administration.
  • Experience in maintaining and managing networks, Windows workstations, and servers.
  • Proficiency in working across multiple locations, including offices and warehouses, utilizing VPN technology.
  • Ability to provide IT training and on-site support for employees and customers.
  • Competence in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN networking solutions, firewalls, routers, switches, Office 365, and Kaspersky antivirus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Salespad, and Panatrack.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in French, Spanish, and Chinese preferred but not mandatory.
