Our client is a global organization that is headquartered in Chicago. Their finance and accounting department consists of over 200 highly accredited professionals who enjoys total work life balance and a rich benefits package and perks including over 4 weeks of vacation, in office gym, and fully stocked kitchens on every floor. They are seeking a Financial Analyst to work a hybrid in office schedule in their office in the Chicago Loop.
This highly motivated and driven analyst will be responsible for supporting the analytical and reporting needs of the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and will work with individuals across the company’s office worldwide and at various levels. The primary responsibilities include financial analysis and reporting at an organization wide, office and group level, monitoring industry trends, conducting market research, using quantitative and qualitative data, providing data synthesis and analysis which links multiple inputs in support of decision-making, creating standard and/or ad hoc reports as required and other due diligence and project based analysis as required. The individual will work closely with the Manager of Financial Analysis to prepare, evaluate and communicate results to key stakeholders in the organization.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
- A minimum of 1 year of financial analysis experience or public accounting or consulting experience
- Advanced capabilities and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- GPA of at least 3.2/4.0
