Successful candidate will have 5 years of law firm experience with great attention to detail and organizational skills. This position is full time, with a collaborative team, generous pay and benefits.
Duties, including but not limited to:
Excellent typing, proofreading, and editing of legal documents for grammatical, typographical or spelling errors, and completeness prior to distribution or filing
eFiling in state and federal courts
Table of Content and Table of Authority preparation
Preparing legal documents such as standard pleadings, discovery, correspondence, memoranda and other documents
Maintain electronic calendars for assigned attorneys with close attention to deadlines
Coordinate and make necessary arrangements for meetings (i.e., depositions, mediations, interviews, and vendor and facility reservations)
Review discovery requests and responses, prepare response shells as needed, review client documents for production
Trial preparation
Organize and maintain case files and other filings – both hardcopy and electronic
Submit expense reimbursements on behalf of assigned attorneys
Attorney timekeeping and calendaring deadlines
