The Los Angeles office is seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant with legal experience. The following list of essential functions is not exhaustive and other duties may be assigned in addition to those listed: post client's payment by recording cash, checks, ACH and credit card transactions; prepares spread sheet of daily deposit; handles settlement checks; handles all Trust Account Deposit; assist Attorney/Clients with any questions regarding outstanding balance; and process deposits through online banking.
Responsibilities
Job Specifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and Accounting Credential
- 1-2 years of experience in the field or in a related field.
- Organization and prioritization
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving
- Ability to complete work on schedule
- Familiarity with accounting programs
- Basic understanding of principles of accounting
- 10-Key
- MC Office suite
- Ability to multitask
