Levy Electric is Hiring a Retail Operations Associate Near New York, NY
Levy Electric is transforming urban mobility with uniquely designed, built-to-own electric scooters. Based in New York, we are one of the leading US-based companies designing lightweight electric vehicles. In addition to direct sales, we also have recently launched a B2B platform that allows independent operators a turnkey solution for launching their own rental fleets using Levy vehicles and software.
Our team is looking for a Retail Operations Associate to help scale our NYC store operations and rental fleet program. This would be a hands on role at first, with the opportunity to grow and lead a team as things progress.
We're looking for enthusiastic applicants that are excited about the rapid shift happening in urban mobility. This is an early stage startup, so being comfortable wearing many hats and getting involved with every aspect of the business is a must. For this role in particular, communication skills are key as there will be heavy interaction with both customers and company partners.
This role would be in-person at our flagship store in Lower East Side - 143 Ludlow Street.
Primary responsibilities:
- Managing in-store activities across New York City including sales, rentals, and subscriptions.
- Assisting with customer support for our online e-commerce business - including email, phone, and text channels.
- Providing post-purchase support and troubleshooting to existing customers.
- Assisting with in-store repairs and working with our mechanics to see repairs through to completion.
- Overseeing shipping and logistics for online orders and in-store orders.
- Implementing and improving technology-enabled operational processes for both the consumer and rental fleet products.
- Providing feedback on technical issues to our manufacturing and engineering teams.
Minimum qualifications:
- 2 years of sales, customer support, and/or retail experience and a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Mechanically inclined, as this role will require expertise of our electric scooters and components, along with familiarity of our mobile app based operating system for rentals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication emails.
- Strong technical proficiency
