Legacy Varin Property Management is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Waukesha, WI
- Complete preventative, predictive, and reactive residential maintenance throughout the facility including apartment turns
- Diagnose problems and repairs in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, swimming pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliances.
- Confirm that work order requests are responded to promptly and professionally.
- Ensure residential units have been turned for a new resident in a timely and efficient manner, as well as determining if work has been completed properly.
- Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents and promote quality living experience.
- Provide on-call service when scheduled and perform emergency maintenance work when required.
- Inspect buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, and addresses items that need to be repaired.
- Assist Manager with scheduling and communicating with vendors and contractors.
- Partner with Manager to obtain bids from outside contractors, as well as oversee contractor work for completeness.
- Assist with purchasing maintenance supplies for the property.
- while staying within the planned budget.
- Accurately prepare and submit property invoices in accordance with established guidelines.
- Communicate with supervisor regarding the overall maintenance function of the property.
- Participate in Company-provided training such as fair housing, safety, non-discrimination, and harassment prevention.
- Comply with all Company National Standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
