Duties:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial matters
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Transcribe dictations and prepare accurate and detailed summaries
- Organize and maintain case files, documents, and exhibits
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel for document production and deposition scheduling
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and trial binders
- Manage document management systems to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of case-related information
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining attorney time records
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple cases simultaneously
- 5 years of experience within Personal Injury plaintiff side
- Excellent written communication skills to draft clear and concise legal documents
- Attention to detail to accurately transcribe dictations and summarize information
- Familiarity with document management systems for efficient organization of case files
- Knowledge of paralegal procedures and practices in a litigation setting
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Project management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
