About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, People Operations, the People Operations Generalist will be a key player in the employee success function at Leapfrog. This role will be responsible for providing a wide range of Talent Acquisition and HR support to candidates, employees, and managers in the areas of recruitment, onboarding, employee experience, and compliance with policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do

  • Engage in full cycle recruiting; post all job openings, manage collection of applications, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and manage candidate communication.
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions and manage scheduling with appropriate team members.
  • Organize and maintain personnel records so they are kept up to date, organized, and stored in line with company guidelines.
  • Partner with external benefits brokers to ensure new employee registration and employee changes for benefits are correctly implemented.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, policies, and procedures, conducting thorough research to stay abreast of industry best practices and legal requirements, thereby supporting organizational compliance and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Drive learning and development initiatives and programming to enhance employee skills and competencies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Participate in team member recognition, milestone, and rewards program coordination.
  • Support office maintenance efforts and act in supplementary manner when needed.
  • Partner with People Operations Manager on ad hoc projects such as job leveling, learning and development, etc. 

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of Recruiting and/or Human Resources experience OR equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of local and federal HR laws and regulations 
  • Proficient in Google office suite, experience with HRIS systems a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously
  • Must be able to handle confidential information responsibly and professionally
  • Experience writing job descriptions a plus
