Summary/Objective:
The Leader in Training Program allows Leadership to develop the skills of future leaders in all areas of the manufacturing environment. The Leader Trainee will gain exposure to the tools, thought processes, and support systems required to design and implement new strategies. Curriculum utilized during the program will provide a roadmap that introduces each Leader Trainee to the infrastructure that strives for and has been built upon.
Qualifications: Three to five years in a manufacturing environment, or technical or bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas is preferred:
- Engineering:Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial
- Manufacturing: Business Administration, Global Business Strategy, Leadership and Supervision, LEAN Manufacturing
- Supply Chain: Purchasing Supply Chain Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field of study
Essential Functions:
- Master learning modules that build a foundation for leadership including:
- Accounting
- Engineering
- Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)
- Innovation
- Inventory Control
- Leadership & Culture
- Lean
- Manufacturing
- Purchasing
- Quality
- Complete online eLearning and in-person courses to supplement day-to-day learnings and interactions
- Establish short-term and long-term program goals and expectations
- Develop relationships with various team members and leaders
- Innovation/Continuous improvement, Quality, Leadership and Culture, and Customer Service mindset
- Learn internal systems such as Microsoft D365, Tabware, Enovia, etc.
- Be passionate about winning and eager/hungry to learn more
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Education and Experience:
Three to five years in a manufacturing environment, or technical or bachelor’s degree in preferred area.
