What You’ll Do
We are currently recruiting for a Campus Support - Team Leader for our Goshen Campus.
Primary duties for the Team Leader:
  • Provide leadership and supervision to the Campus Support Team at our Lakeview Drive location.
  • Will be first contact with clients and their families during after-hours admissions.
  • Gather information and documentation from multiple sources, which is communicated to nurses on admission to inpatient.
  • Some contact occurs with managed care entities processing prior approvals for services.
  • Will manage the Campus Support Team schedule and duty assignments.
  • Paid training in these areas is available.
The Campus Support team plays a critical role in Oaklawn’s operations by providing security at our Goshen campus, assisting with patient safety and helping with admissions to our inpatient psychiatric unit during non-business hours.
Campus Support Team duties include:
  • Working closely with on-call therapists, administrators, psychiatrists and unit staff to ensure smooth admission during evening, late night and weekend hours
  • Gathering information and completing paperwork required for admission. This may include request for services, prior treatment, medical status and verifying benefits, income and eligibility, etc.
  • De-escalating potentially violent or out-of-control situations
  • Assessing for risk factors for harm to self and others
  • Consulting with staff and developing a plan of action to deal with emergent situations in the least restrictive manner
  • Responding promptly to all patient/resident related crises
  • Making regular rounds of the building and grounds to ensure safety of patients and staff
  • Entering data or completing paperwork related to admission and security/patient safety
  • Assisting with monthly quality control checks, such as fire extinguisher, exit lights testing, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
  • High School diploma required. Degree in Social Service Field preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
