What You’ll Do as the Orientation & Training Specialist :

Primary duties :

• Oversee training toward competency and provide ongoing support, education and mentoring new staff

Interact with :

• Clients and families. The frequency varies with needs, acuity levels and assignments.
• Therapists, physicians, and other employees involved in the case.
• Community resources, providers, coordination of services and referral sources such as : DCS, court, probation, schools, and health care providers.

Minimum Hiring Requirements for the Orientation & Training Specialist :

• Bachelor's degree required; preferably in social or human services field; OBHP if supervised by a clinical supervisor (LP)
• Master’s Degree or equivalent / QBHP preferred.
• Two years experience working with clients in residential or outpatient settings. Two years supervision experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
