Reporting Relationships
- Reports to Director of Accounting/Controller.
- Coordinate and/or perform daily/weekly/monthly accounts payable activities.
- Validate invoices, expense reports and check requests for payment.
- Obtain W-9s from vendors.
- Data entry in accounting system.
- Generate reports for weekly check run.
- Prepare checks received for deposit.
- Record AP cash disbursements in Sage Intacct.
- Prepare and enter monthly journal entries in Sage Intacct.
- Bank reconciliations.
- General ledger account reconciliations.
- Maintain prepaid expense schedule and create applicable journal entries.
- Assist with preparing audit workpapers.
- Other accounting functions as needed.
- Minimum of three years education/work experience.
- Experience with general ledger functions.
- Experience with accounting software and data entry.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
- Enjoy working collaboratively with other team members.
