Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team. As the Development Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our organization's mission and goals. This is a key leadership role that requires strong relationship-building skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for making a difference.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans to meet annual revenue goals
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners
- Identify and pursue grant opportunities, including researching potential funders, writing proposals, and managing reporting requirements
- Plan and coordinate fundraising events, including donor cultivation events, galas, and community outreach activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Proven track record of successful fundraising in a nonprofit organization and proficiency in grant writing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in event planning and management
- Knowledge or willingness to learn social media platforms for fundraising purposes
