Job Overview:

LCG Advisors is seeking a full-time candidate to fill an Associate position within the firm's Investment Banking division. The Associate will play a critical role in day-to-day deal execution activities focused on mergers and acquisitions, capital formation, and corporate finance advisory. Individuals will be assigned a wide variety of projects and given as much responsibility as their experience and capabilities permit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with transaction execution under the direction of senior bankers
• Create pitch decks and transaction-related marketing documents (e.g., confidential information memorandums, management presentations, etc.)
• Create valuation analysis, including comparable companies, comparable transactions, discounted cash flows, etc.
• Develop dynamic and integrated financial statement models and perform ad hoc forecasting and analysis
• Perform company, industry, market, and competitor research and due diligence
• Support senior bankers in their relationship management responsibilities
• Interact with clients, potential buyers, and investors during meetings, presentations, and deal execution
• Coordinate in-depth due diligence activities for each engagement
• Ensure quality of client deliverables by having strong attention to detail

Qualifications:

• Ability to manage expectations of senior bankers, analysts, and clients while working on projects simultaneously
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Strong analytical, modeling and technical skills required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop rapport with existing and potential clients
• Ability to thoughtfully interact with management teams, intermediaries, and other third parties
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a small team environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Must be able to work in a highly fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines
• Passion for investment banking and working with middle-market clients

Experience:

• Bachelors, MBA or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• One to three years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, commercial lending, accounting, or consulting

License/Certifications:

• FINRA Series 79 & 63 certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
