Summary: The primary responsibility of a Resident Assistant is to provide compassionate assistance to our residents. The Resident Assistant is responsible for the delivery of nutrition to the residents and assist with other tasks such as recreational and social activities and in-house appointments.
The Resident Assistance will also answer call lights and assist with residents with personal care, grooming, changing clothes, positioning, mobility, getting out of bed, and going to bed. In addition, they may perform administrative tasks such as answering phones and greeting visitors, and provide documentation of care and assistance.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED is preferred. Must have completed an organized nursing assistant training program or equivalent or be willing to complete CNA training program and sit for the state nursing assistant exam within six months of employment. Must be able to withstand long periods on your feet.
