Summary

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for the design and implementation of staffing patterns for professional and nonprofessional nursing employees. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Completes and maintain all staffing schedules and daily assignments.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for all staff scheduling matter. 
• Works with D.O.N. and A.D.O.N. to ensure required In-Services are completed and record of attendance is maintained for all staff. 
• Works with Admissions Coordinator to ensure all new hire orientation is completed for C.N.A.s and Charge Nurses.
• Works with Admissions Coordinator to ensure all areas of skills are routinely reviewed with each C.N.A. and Charge Nurse at least once a year. If negative findings during Competency Check-offs the observations will increase until the employee successfully shows competence. 
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Current C.N.A or LPN license. Familiar with the educational requirements of state, federal, OSHA, OBRA, and ADA regulations. Should (preferably) have experience in computer operations.
