Position Overview: The ISNP Accounting Manager will oversee all accounting functions related to our Integrated Special Needs Plans, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting and operations. This role requires a detail-oriented and results-driven professional with a deep understanding of healthcare accounting principles and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

   • Manage the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses for ISNP programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
   • Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and trend analysis to assess the financial performance of ISNP programs and identify areas for improvement.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

   • Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts for ISNP programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior management.
   • Monitor budget vs. actual performance, analyze variances, and provide insights to support decision-making and resource allocation.

3. Revenue Cycle Management:

   • Oversee revenue recognition, billing, and collections processes for ISNP programs, ensuring timely and accurate recording of revenue and receivables.
   • Collaborate with billing and coding teams to optimize revenue cycle performance and minimize revenue leakage.

4. Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:

   • Ensure compliance with healthcare accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, CMS regulations) and internal control requirements.
   • Prepare and submit regulatory reports and filings related to ISNP programs, such as CMS financial reports and cost reports.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

   • Lead and mentor the ISNP accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to support professional growth and development.
   • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the accounting team and across departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare accounting roles, with specific experience in Medicare Advantage or ISNP accounting.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare accounting principles, regulations (e.g., CMS guidelines), and reimbursement methodologies (e.g., risk adjustment).
• Experience with accounting software and systems used in the healthcare industry (e.g., Epic, Meditech, McKesson).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
