Latitude is Hiring a Junior Technical Recruiter Near Mclean, VA

Position Overview: As a Technical Recruiter with a focus on sourcing, you will play a critical role in identifying and engaging qualified candidates for technical positions within our organization. You will leverage your sourcing expertise and creativity to build a pipeline of top talent, utilizing various channels and strategies to attract passive candidates. The ideal candidate will have a strong sourcing background, excellent networking skills, and a passion for identifying and connecting with top technical talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Candidate Sourcing:

    • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques to identify and attract passive candidates for technical roles, including but not limited to software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and IT professionals.
    • Conduct in-depth research and market analysis to identify talent pools, competitor landscapes, and industry trends, informing sourcing strategies and approaches.
    • Build and maintain a network of technical professionals through online platforms, social media, professional associations, user groups, and industry events.
  2. Talent Engagement and Relationship Building:

    • Engage with potential candidates through personalized outreach, networking events, and direct communication channels to establish rapport and build relationships.
    • Act as a brand ambassador for the company, effectively communicating our culture, values, and career opportunities to prospective candidates.
    • Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the sourcing and engagement process, serving as a trusted advisor and resource to candidates.
  3. Candidate Assessment and Qualification:

    • Screen and assess candidates to evaluate their technical skills, experience, qualifications, and cultural fit for specific roles.
    • Conduct initial interviews, technical assessments, and competency evaluations to gauge candidates' suitability and interest in opportunities.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers and interview teams to align candidate profiles with role requirements and hiring criteria.
  4. Pipeline Management and Reporting:

    • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs, tracking candidate interactions and progress in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Provide regular updates and reports on sourcing activities, candidate pipelines, and key metrics to stakeholders, informing decision-making and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • 1 years of experience in technical sourcing and recruitment, with a proven track record of identifying and engaging top technical talent.
  • Deep understanding of technical roles, skills, technologies, and market trends, with the ability to assess candidates' technical capabilities and potential.
  • Expertise in using advanced sourcing techniques and tools, including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other relevant platforms.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage with candidates effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a commitment to sourcing diverse talent and promoting an inclusive hiring process.
