Latitude is Hiring a DevOps Sales Engineer Near Austin, TX

Position Overview: As a DevOps Sales Engineer, you will be a key member of our sales team, working closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and demonstrating how our DevOps solutions can meet their needs. Your technical expertise and ability to articulate the value of our products will be essential in driving successful sales engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Consultation:

    • Collaborate with customers to understand their technical challenges and business objectives.
    • Provide expert advice on implementing DevOps best practices to improve software development and IT operations.
  2. Product Demonstrations:

    • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the features and capabilities of our DevOps solutions.
    • Tailor demonstrations to address specific customer requirements and use cases.
  3. Proof of Concept (PoC):

    • Lead and coordinate the execution of Proof of Concept engagements to validate the effectiveness of our DevOps solutions.
    • Work closely with customers to ensure successful PoC outcomes.
  4. Sales Support:

    • Support the sales team in technical discussions, presentations, and proposal development.
    • Address technical questions and concerns raised by customers during the sales process.
  5. Solution Architecture:

    • Collaborate with customers to design solution architectures that align with their technical and business requirements.
    • Work with the implementation team to ensure smooth project transitions.
  6. Customer Training:

    • Provide training sessions for customers on the implementation and use of DevOps solutions.
    • Share best practices for optimizing software delivery and operational processes.
  7. Feedback Loop:

    • Gather customer feedback and insights to contribute to product improvement and development.
    • Communicate customer needs and trends to the product management team.
  8. Sales Collateral:

    • Contribute to the development of sales collateral, including technical documentation, case studies, and whitepapers.
    • Ensure accurate and compelling representation of our DevOps solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in a technical role, with a focus on DevOps practices.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing or sales engineering role.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed for customer engagements.
  • Certifications in relevant DevOps tools and technologies are a plus.
