laser aesthetic center is Hiring an Office Manager Near Brooklyn, NY

Behind the successful operations of a spa is a spa manager overseeing all aspects of managing the business. Aside from managing the day-to-day operations of the spa, you will be responsible for managing employees, attending to various employee or customer issues, ensuring that all staff members follow the spa's policies, and monitoring equipment and inventory.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our growing team. The Manager must be someone who has the humility to fold laundry alongside the team but also has the confidence and leadership abilities to lead the team to successful completion of impactful projects. This position requires a unique ability to see things from both a creative and data-driven perspective. The manager will oversee the day-to-day operational functions for our several locations, ensuring that office policies, procedures, and plans are executed in a smooth and expeditious manner. Key responsibilities include financial, office administrative duties, and personnel management.

  • Support providers, helping them serve their clients more effectively and efficiently, relieving their pain points and allowing them to focus on what they do best
  • Practice Management: Human Resource Development
  • Designs/implements/updates employee training manuals & practice policies/procedure
  • Provide analytical support and input into strategy development; support marketing initiatives
  • Understand client and provider insights that drive business priorities; execute analyses and make conclusions/recommendations to support business priorities
  • Financial management; deposits and reconciliation
  • Manage the profit and loss of the business
  • Manage social media, train staff to post according to agreed guidelines (instagram, tiktok, etc)
  • Set the business priorities based on profit, client experience, and provider needs
  • Collaboration with third party vendors

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES:

  • Must be comfortable working on-premise and be client-facing
  • Proficient with excel
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Superior organization skills
  • Trustworthy and accountable
  • Excellent math skills
  • Attentive to detail and accuracy
  • Polished dress-code: professional business casual. Well groomed at all times (polished clean makeup & hair look)

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES:

  • Degree or background in marketing and/or business management (preferred)
  • Experience in and/or deep passion for the aesthetics industry
  • Proven record of leading small teams to collaborative success
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous situations, approach work with confidence and curiosity to prioritize projects
  • Excellent ability to work with small teams – to influence them, push them, inspire them, encourage them, listen to them, celebrate them, trust them, and empower them to do what they do best
  • Strong ability to lean on team in order to leverage their areas of expertise and produce award-winning experiences for clients
  • Willingness to figure something out they don’t understand, simplify complex situations, and ask questions along the way
  • Proven project leadership capability
  • Acknowledges tradeoffs, takes calculated risks, and owns outcomes; celebrates action and results (including lessons learned!) more than meetings and PowerPoints
  • Passionate and opinionated – has a well-formed and logical point of view
  • Strong financial background, previous bookkeeping experience
  • Extensive experience with practice data processing systems

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
