Currently, they are seeking a talented Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) to join their team on a contract basis. This is a hybrid role located in New York, NY.

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing market trends, evaluating investment opportunities and providing strategic insights to drive business growth within the real estate sector. This role will require a deep understanding of REITs and experience in both business and data analysis. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage data analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets related to REIT performance and market dynamics.

Senior Business Analyst Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of REIT performance, including financial data, market trends and industry benchmarks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing REIT portfolio performance
• Provide actionable recommendations based on thorough research and analysis to support decision-making processes
• Generate insightful reports and presentations for stakeholders, including senior management and investors, to communicate findings and recommendations effectively
• Utilize data analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets related to REIT performance and market dynamics
• Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes and emerging trends in the REIT market to inform business strategies and enhance competitive advantage

Senior Business Analyst Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, data interpretation and data visualization
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Proven track record of delivering actionable insights and driving impactful business results
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities
