Larissa Loden Inc is Hiring a Sales Manager Near Saint Paul, MN

The Sales Manager (SM) is responsible for the oversight of our Sales department and the management of the team within it. This includes overseeing the operations of our Mall of America Store, directing our Marshall Shop Supervisor, and leading strategy and sales opportunities both retail and wholesale. This position sits on the Leadership Team.

The Sales Manager (SM) is responsible for the oversight of our Sales department and the management of the team within it. This includes overseeing the operations of our Mall of America Store, directing our Marshall Shop Supervisor, and leading strategy and sales opportunities both retail and wholesale. This position is responsible for our In-Person and B2B Sales Processes and making sure the team is executing to the standards of the Larissa Loden Brand. The SM directs their team, assists in removing barriers, and motivates and encourages the team to meet the company's sales quotas. This position sits on the Leadership Team.

1. Sales Quotas are on target (revenue, growth & acquisition)
2. Store Operating Budget & Payroll on target
3. Team Management and Productivity
4. Key account management

Essential Functions
  • Meets sales quotas and collaborates with executive leadership to develop benchmarks and strategies.
  • Maintain outstanding visual merchandising standards and a safe, clean, and welcoming store atmosphere
  • Oversees sales operational requirements for all locations and events by scheduling and assigning employees, managing workflow, and ensuring core processes are followed by all.
  • Leads training, scheduling, coaching, hiring, and reviewing employees in the sales team, setting the pace and strategically planning workflow to maximize efficiencies.
  • Set a strong, professional example for mid-level managers/supervisors and store associates to follow.
  • Reviews and analyzes past sales and operational records to develop benchmarks, and department budgets, determine profitability targets, and project sales.
  • Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers to understand service requirements.
  • Collaborates on pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities, determining additional needed sales promotions, and authorizing clearance sales.
  • Manages and maintains key B2B accounts by identifying and analyzing customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts, and maintains communication through in-person or digital touchpoints.
  • Proactively manages department KPIs to keep the team on track before issues arise.
  • Completes quarterly rocks that contribute to the company-wide goals and coaches the team to complete their rocks on time.
  • Manage purchasing for Sales supplies and collateral.
  • Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
  • Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-5 years experience in sales management role
  • Knowledge of retail management best practices
  • Experience managing a team
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • The ability to work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in merchandising, business administration, or related field
  • Experience with the platforms Shopify, Klaviyo, Faire, and Airtable or similar project management software

Salary

$60,000 - $70,000 per year
