Title of Position: AutoCAD Associate - Administrator

Salary: Negotiable (as per experience)

Full Time (40 Hours)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Landscape Architecture
• Proficient in AutoCAD – at least 3 years working knowledge
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Photoshop
• Proficient with measuring sites and creating base plans
• Detail-oriented; strong technical, and writing skills
• Demonstrates a collaborative and professional work ethic
• Strong interpersonal skills-verbal, listening and written
• Reliable transportation with state-mandated auto liability insurance on personal vehicle required
• *Valid Driver’s License.

Qualifications:

• An ideal candidate will show organizational skills, be goal oriented, and have a team-player mindset
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel)
• Knowledge of residential designs, permitting, codes
• Demonstrates a collaborative and professional work ethic
• Strong design and graphic presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure
• Excellent communication skills are a must

Preferred Experience:

• Sketching/hand drawing skills are a plus
• Plant material knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, In-Design and Google Sketch-Up

Job Summary:

• Preparing specifications for site related construction activities
• Measuring and create accurate base plans in AutoCAD
• Editing construction drawings in Auto Cad
• Project permitting and ensuring city and municipal building requirements are met
• Researching materials and objects for costing as directed by PM
• Prepare proposals and compile bids for landscape design-build projects
• Assisting in organization and flow of design office processes and procedures
• Maintaining project plans and document filing
• Assist in producing design work in conjunction with project requirements, which may include complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, or difficult coordination requirements
• Establishing/updating project design & schedules
• Responsible for running errands as directed by PM (i.e. pick up, drop off plans, pick up product samples, etc.)
