About the Position
Lane County is recruiting for a Housing Production Manager to accelerate our efforts to address our region’s critical shortage of housing units. The Oregon Regional Housing Needs Assessment estimates our regional shortage to be 16,400 units across all unit types and affordability levels. While housing is often understood to be a largely municipal responsibility under Oregon law and land use practices, county government has defined a strategic augmentation role in partnership with cities across the county to increase the stock of shovel-ready, buildable lots within established urban growth boundaries.
We seek a candidate who excels in identifying and aligning partnerships, resources, and opportunities to bootstrap tangible progress in community development. This role presents a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the housing crisis in Lane County and be an integral part of the solution. Join us in shaping the future of our community through innovative housing initiatives.
