What We Need From YouThe Human Resources Specialist provides support to the Talent department in various administrative tasks with recruiting, benefits, HRIS, and engagement.
This is an in-office position, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Essential Functions
  • Provides support to the Talent department in various administrative tasks and assists with the implementation of programs and policies.
  • Executes administrative support including, but not limited to, processing and filing paperwork, responding to emails, answering phone calls, benefits, HRIS, engagement, training, and special projects as needed.
  • Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual recruiting metrics through UKG reporting platform for approval and presentation.
  • Posts positions through ATS and other social media platforms.
  • General sourcing and screening during high volumes.
  • Candidate follow up and pre-boarding transactions.
  • Completes and submits new hire information into Information Technology trouble ticketing system prior to start date.
  • Organizes training schedule with Trainer and communicates all necessary information to new hires.
  • Conducts consistent and thorough on-boarding and orientation of new hire employees to include I-9 paperwork and completion of other new hire tasks.
  • Completes all unemployment compensation claims.
  • Acts as the back up the HRIS Analyst, including but not limited to, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversees the day-today administration of HRIS, including user avccess, security settings, and system updates.
  • Provides technica support to HR staff and end-users, troubleshooting system issues and implementing solutions to enhance system performance and usability.
  • Assists Total Rewards Partner in benefits enrollment; assists employees with benefits inquiries as necessary; escalates difficulties to Total Rewards Partner.
  • Prepares OSHA logs and worker’s compensation claims / files for Total Rewards Partner’s review and approval.
  • If needed, conducts exit interviews and shares feedback with the HR leader.
  • Under the direction of the Talent department leader, assists employees with pay related issues and works with Payroll for resolution.
  • Provides support for the engagement survey activities, ensuring employees are aware and engaged in planned activity, and may provide support in organizing events.
  • Creates content and delivers presentations on various HR processes and procedures.
  • Handles sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in customer service.
  • Knowledge of HR processes.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
  • 2-3 years of experience supporting the recruiting / talent acquisition process.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google products including Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Google Forms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PHR or SHRM-CP.
  • Good knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
  • 2 years of experience using HRIS systems.
  • Good knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
  • 3 years of experience supporting the recruiting / talent acquisition process.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office/Google products including Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Google Forms.
Working Conditions
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Compensation
  • The salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 annually.
  • In accordance with Colorado state law, this position is non-exempt and all overtime will be paid at time and a half.
