LAFAYETTE AVIATORS – FULL TIME
FOCUS: Ticket Sales Manager
The Lafayette (IN) Aviators (www.lafayettebaseball.com) are a summer collegiate baseball team in the Prospect League which provides collegiate players the opportunity to play competitively in a wood-bat league during the summer months in front of professional scouts, while also providing the local community with an affordable summer entertainment destination everyone can enjoy.
The Aviators play at Loeb Stadium which opened in 2021 featuring stadium suites, multiple premium seating options and a dominant video scoreboard.
The Aviators organization has developed a program that prepares its staff for a career in sports. We help our staff succeed in their career objectives by preparing for and learning from actual situations our staff encounters at the ballpark which are discussed and experienced daily.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Sales Associates, ticketing interns, box office staff, ticket takers

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Primary advanced ticket sales person for B2B and B2C sales
- Responsible for selling all season tickets, partial season tickets, group outings, suite rentals, picnics and all other ticket packages the Aviators sell.
- Work with President & General Manager to sell corporate partnership packages
- Attend networking event to enhance Aviators brand in the community
- Hire, train and manage ticket sales staff, including: sales associates, interns, box office staff and ticket takers
- Liaison between the Aviators and the ticketing software team
- Assist President & General Manager with the implementation of ticket sales initiatives
- Responsible for maintaining complete records of all ticket sales clients and prospects in ticketing system
- Responsible for collecting all sales data and keeping an accurate, up-to-date spreadsheet of all sales data.
- Responsible for lead generation for the staff for season and group ticket leads.
- Ability to multi-task in a stressful environment
- Always maintain a professional image while at stadium.
- Additional duties as assigned.
