General Hotels Corporation is Hiring a Sales Manager-Hampton Inn/Homewood Suites Near Lafayette, IN
- To sell hotel room nights through direct client contact; Implement hotel-level tactical sales plans as assigned.
- To develop and maintain good relationships with officials and representatives of local community groups and companies.
- To promote new business and increase sales for the hotel.
- Responsible for sales calls and prospecting new business.
- Handling client site inspections and client entertainment.
- Negotiating contracts and Sales Pro activities.QualificationsMinimum of 1 year sales experience required. Hotel sales experience is a plus. Must have negotiation skills, and ability to achieve/meet revenue goals. An excellent communicator both orally and in writing. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook. Reliable transportation needed.Abilities and Desired Behaviors
