Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring accuracy of information
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Operate the hotel's phone system and direct calls to the appropriate department or guest room
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform night audit duties as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in guest relations or customer service is preferred
- Fluent in multiple languages is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality management principles
- Familiarity with front desk procedures, including check-in/check-out processes and reservation systems
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications related to the front desk operations
