POSITION: FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets, directs and registers all visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Ensures seamless coverage of the highly-visible reception desk at all times
• Answers, screens and routes telephone calls.
• Resolves routine and non-routine administrative problems and answers inquiries
• Sorts, screens, and distributes incoming & outgoing mail
• Prepares photocopies and operates a variety of office equipment
• Compiles medical records
• Collects co-pays and prepares receipts
• Takes initiative to assist colleagues and clients when the need arises
• you will report to a Front Office Supervisor and a Practice Manager

HOURS:

• Immediate need for Saturdays, but backup for Sundays as needed. Shift starts at 7am. Saturdays may operate until 2pm, but most Saturdays finish up around 11 or noon. Sundays start at 7am and are usually only a few hours long. All weekend shifts will be paid a 3 hour minimum.
• Fertility clinics are open most days of the year, thus you must be available to work holidays should they fall on a weekend.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Reliability with great references is a must!
• A friendly, supportive and professional demeanor
• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent multi-tasking skills

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
