Description

The Development Coordinator will be responsible for acquiring materials, equipment, and services to fulfill requests for purchases, from the Development Area, including preparing purchase orders and handling inquiries about orders. Follows through with purchase from order placement to fulfillment and ensures order either arrives or job has been done on time. 

Additional tasks will include responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, managing/ controlling and closing of projects for the brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle requests for purchases. Work with several vendors to control supply costs. 
• Ensure all documentation on the invoice is accurate.
• Handle questions and concerns about the projects.
• Track purchases from order placement until they arrive.
• Keep control of invoices. 
• Seek suppliers in each market. 
• Ensure POs have been done on time.
• Notify the appropriate department of the placement of orders.
• Compare prices and expected delivery dates proposed by suppliers.
• Cost comparison chart for each product. 
• Choose the best bid.
• Compile records of items purchased or transferred between departments, prices, deliveries, and warranties.
• Match purchase orders with shipment.
• Verify billed amount with goods received. 
• Handle invoices. Record invoices for requisitions and supplies in an Excel document. Follow on purchase orders
• Set Utilities with every city where the project is in progress
• Follow up with permits applications and payments to the city. 
• Establish relationships with zoning and planning with the city
• Assist in follow ups, timelines, and schedules in collaboration with the team.
• Facilitate communication among project team members, vendors, and other contractors to ensure clarity, alignment, and timely resolution of issues.

Requirements

• Purchasing and/or coordinator: 1 year
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse vendors.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for document creation, data analysis, and communication.
• Able to read construction drawings.
