About Gather25

The vision of Gather Ministries is to equip people around the world with gospel-centered resources, events, and community so that they may learn about who God is and disciple others right where they are. We believe discipleship is the way Jesus said the world will change.

To this end in 2025, Gather Ministries will hold an unprecedented event to mobilize the Church to reach the world so that every person on earth may know Jesus. On March 1st 2025, for 25 hours, we will gather the global Church across five continents for prayer, repentance, and commissioning in an event called Gather25.

During those 25 hours, we will host five live events, as well as a free live stream, in order to mobilize the 2.5 billion Christians on earth to participate in the mission of God and “go and make disciples” of the 5.5 billion people who don’t have a relationship with Jesus.

Job Summary

The Development Coordinator will be a go-getter that will assist the Director of Development in fundraising for the organization’s future strategic vision. This will be a hands-on position that will require an analytical mind with high attention to detail, a commitment to excellence and strong interpersonal skills. The Development Coordinator will assist in the planning, execution and implementation of current and prospective donor strategies. This valuable teammate will use their experience with online giving campaigns to implement a micro giving program while leveraging a donor management system.

Reports to: Director of Development

Position Responsibilities

• Help execute an annual strategic plan through development initiatives, particularly through online giving campaigns
• Cultivate relationships with potential and existing general file donors
• Provide support for small and large fundraising events throughout the year
• Leverage the donor management system to provide donor analytics and reporting to the Director of Development
• Identify grant opportunities that are a fit with our organization’s mission and vision and manage a grant writer to execute the application process
• Evaluate opportunities to regularly communicate with general file donors
• Own the donor thank you process and execution of post event follow-ups
• Effectively manage budget, timelines and resources for donor development effort
• Coordinate with Accounting to ensure the proper receipting and donor contribution reports
• Provide regular communication to Director of Development

Position Qualifications
The Development Coordinator will be thoroughly committed to the Gather25 vision. All candidates should have proven relationship management experience. Other qualifications include:

• Personal thriving relationship with Jesus Christ
• Passion for discipleship and evangelism
• Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to donor reporting and analytics
• Outstanding interpersonal communication, written and verbal communication
• Has no fear when it comes to online fundraising initiatives
• Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people and communicate with people at all levels
• Technology savvy with donor management software
• 3 years of development experience
• Lives in the DFW area or willing to relocate to Dallas, TX
• Bachelor's degree
