**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods in a fast-paced bakery environment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, macarons, and other desserts
- Decorate pastries using various toppings, and fillings
- Monitor inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
- Occasionally assist in catering events by preparing pastry items for large groups
**Experience:**
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or relevant role in a professional kitchen setting
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Proficiency in pastry techniques including baking, decorating, and presentation
- Familiarity with culinary tools and equipment such as mixers, ovens, and knives
- Strong customer service skills to interact with guests when necessary
