Our fast-growing startup is looking for an experienced, self-motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to build out our infrastructure and push Kyndi's AI as a Service (SaaS) platform to the next level.

Your role will be to help design, build, and maintain Kyndi’s high-performance, scalable, secure and reliable infrastructure. You will work closely with the platform engineering team to make our AI services performant, scalable, observable and reliable. 

Responsibilities:

• Act as the DevOps lead on a high functioning development team
• Building, maintaining, optimizing, and scaling Kyndi’s AI as a Service (SaaS) platform
• Improving infrastructure operations and processes with automation, logging, monitoring and other tooling
• Mature the CI/CD pipeline to constantly ensure quality releases while maximizing engineering velocity
• Debug production issues as they arise across services and levels of the stack
• Always be improving the scalability and security of Kyndi infrastructure
• Work with application and platform developers to ensure best practices and efficient use of infrastructure

Qualification: 

• 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer or relatable experience
• Experience with Kubernetes required, Helm is a plus
• Experience with Git-based CI/CD tooling required, CircleCI is a plus
• Strong collaboration skills required to co-architect a novel best practice for SaaS hosting AI platforms
• Experience with AWS, Artifactory, Apache Hadoop, Redis, RabbitMQ, Apache ZooKeeper, PostgreSQL is appreciated
• Ability to perform in a high energy environment with dynamic job responsibilities and priorities
• A track record for being able to diagnose problems within complex systems

This is a full-time remote position with operations based in San Mateo, CA and the Pacific time zone. An applicant must have proper paperwork to be employed in the United States, and must also be physically located within the United States.
