The Benefit Advocate position is full-time, non-exempt, and will play an integral role within our team to process changes and provide our employer group members with excellent employee benefit services. The ideal person for this position should have administrative experience in a professional environment. Employee Benefits experience is preferred

  • Manage our client’s data with excellent attention to detail while upholding accurate data entry and file maintenance.
  • Manage and maintain Benefit Administration systems internally and externally.

Apply for our Full-Time position if you:

  • Have 1-3 years of administrative experience in a professional environment
  • Are self-directed, highly organized, and detail oriented.
  • Are coachable and a quick learner - willing to learn new ways of doing things, ask questions, and make process improvement suggestions as needed.
  • Can clearly communicate on the phone, virtually, and in writing.
  • Experience with Employee Benefits preferred.
  • Are proficient at using technology such as Microsoft Office 365, with the ability to quickly learn new technology platforms.

What’s in it for you?

  • Full-time position: 40 hours a week with potential for overtime.
  • Competitive salary and bonus, based on skills and experience.
  • Benefits: PTO, group health, dental, vision, life, disability, long-term care, identity theft insurance, and a 401(k) plan with employer match.
  • On-the-job training, mentoring, educational and growth opportunities, team happy hours, flexibility, an awesome office environment, and the occasional free lunch – sometimes ordered in, sometimes cooked by the owners who are total foodies.
  • Remote work flexibility

Who we are:

KIG has been family-owned and managed for 50 years, but we still consider ourselves a nimble organization of forward-thinking entrepreneurs, constantly evolving to be ahead of market trends and to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients.

Our headquarters are in Indiana, PA, and we have an office in the East Liberty neighborhood of Pittsburgh (by Google and Bakery Square). We work with great people and innovative and exciting companies that are changing the world - each in their own way - from innovating cancer research to self-driving cars.

We do things differently here than at other firms. Instead of thinking about how to sell more, we focus on helping our clients achieve success through:

  • Employee Benefits solutions, including group health & life insurance plans that help our clients attract and retain talented employees who fit their culture.
  • HR & Compliance solutions, including fractional-HR services, HR Hotline, and handbook builder, to keep our client’s HR house in order.
  • Integrated payroll & HRIS solutions that help our clients’ Human Resources Department create efficient processes, so they have time to focus on what they love to do best and with less headaches.
  • Business Insurance products such as GL, workers’ compensation, cyber liability, D&O, and key-person life insurance that help protect our clients and their employees from the bad sh*# that can happen to them.

We take pride in our history, our work ethic, our corporate culture, and especially our team. Our people are our greatest asset, and we value each of them as such. We honor our 50 year legacy in the way we define our culture. We also hire for our culture.

It’s easy to teach someone how to do a job, but it’s important to find people who exemplify the behaviors that support how we do things. They are the 31 Fundamental Behaviors we live by; we call them The Kuzneski Way. Check them out and see how many are a fit for you.

If our fundamentals and business resonate with you, and you are exceptional and want to be a valued member of a great team of people, then please consider applying for our Benefit Advocate position.

Send us your resume and a thoughtful cover letter that is specific to our company and tells us why you are the perfect fit for the role of Benefit Advocate. We can’t wait to hear from you!
