KS StateBank is Hiring a Personal Banker Near Manhattan, KS

Position Description:

Personal Bankers are the face of the Bank, focused on building quality relationships and protecting the financial security of our clients. As a Personal Banker you will consult with new and existing clients to assess their needs and provide personalized solutions. You will also provide exceptional service to our clients and your team members. Excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality are a must. At least one to two years of previous banking or retail experience is preferred.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable talking with people and can maintain confidentiality and diplomacy in order to create a positive client experience. Those who enjoy working as a team to make sure that work is completed accurately and efficiently will find themselves in a supportive environment. If you: strive for consistent, quality work; enjoy looking for logical answer; and have the ability to easily accept change, this may be the job for you. Training will be provided.

This is a full-time position; Monday through Friday, and a Saturday rotation. Wages start at $16-18 per hour.
Employee benefits include 401k, health, dental and vision insurance and paid time off.

Job Responsibilities:
Opens all types of personal and business accounts
Cross sell products and services of the bank by listening to client needs
Answers inquiries and customer service matters from clients face-to-face and over the phone
Build relationships with internal and external clients
Educate clients on new products and services
Exceed our clients' expectations
Manage safety deposit boxes, process payments, new set up and closures. Provide clients access to their boxes and maintain all required paperwork
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High School Graduate or GED required
One to two years of previous banking and/or retail experience preferred
Experience with basic office equipment (Microsoft Office programs and keyboards)
Good mathematical skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Relationship building skills
Detail oriented
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Able to view a computer screen for long periods of time
Must be able to speak and listen clearly both in person and on the phone
Fine visual acuity to read for accuracy
This job may require lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 10 pounds frequently
