Job Summary:
Boutique style General Dental Practice in Leawood, Kansas searching for a dependable, motivated dental assistant to join our amazing team. This is an awesome opportunity with a growing practice, in a fabulous location! We're looking for a team member who's professional, and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and setting up equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing patient support
- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring models and trimming diagnostic casts
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients as directed by the dentist
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record system
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ordering as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their concerns and ensuring their comfort

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality

We offer competitive compensation based on experience.

This is a full-time position:

Monday: 9 AM to 5 PM

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8 AM to 4:30 PM
