Kratos is seeking a Technical Writer who can perform the following with excellence:

• Work closely with subject matter experts to gather information and create technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, design documents, and reference guides.
• Use Arbor Text or other authoring tools (MS-Word) to create and format documents.
• Ensure that documentation meets established standards for content, style, and accuracy.
• Review and edit documents for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
• Participate in peer reviews to ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that documentation is aligned with product development timelines and priorities.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and authoring tools.

• Minimum Bachelors Degree education needed or 3 years experience writing documents
• Minimum 2 years of job related experience needed
• Ability to create technical documents using Arbor Text tools, or other.

Desired Skill and Experience

• Knowledge of training system mechanical design and factor of safety requirements
