Ready for What's Next? Kratos is seeking a satellite Orbital Analysis (OA) Engineer for the Command and Control Systems - Consolidated (CCS-C) ground system as part of the CPASC program. The position includes support of dynamic, fast-paced projects that span all phases of the Software Development/ Software Test/System Engineering lifecycles, including requirement review/updates, design, development, test, and customer support. The ideal candidate has several years’ experience with satellite telemetry and commanding, including software development in EPOCH Product Suite and OASYS. This candidate must be self-motivated, work well independently and as part of a larger team, be a self-learner, have strong attention to detail, and be able to adhere to strict timelines. Candidate must be able to quickly and efficiently generate estimates and status of design efforts, including materials (such as presentation slides), for use internally as well as with customers. Good written and oral communication skills strongly desired JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related fields. * Current Security Certification or required within 6 months of hire. * Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in * Orbital Analysis * Software testing * Development, Software Testing and System Engineering Lifecycles * Software Version Control * Microsoft Product Suite * Candidate must be self-motivated and capable of working independently and with others. * Candidate must be able to articulate technical concepts orally and in written form. * Current Secret level clearance required DESIRED: * Five to eight years’ experience in * EPOCH Product Suite * OASYS (Orbitial Analysis System * OA Operations * A software test environment, including regression testing * Scripting/Programming (Perl, C, Shell, Batch) * Git Version Control * DOORs * Knowledge of Command and Control Consolidated (CCS-C) system. * Knowledge of Air Force Test Regulations and experience in Air Force formal testing is a plus Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
