Overview Axient is seeking a C3BM Infrastructure Engineer/Integrator to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. Your typical day - Our MDA analysts and engineers work in modern, well-appointed government facilities at Schriever Space Force Base. Schriever Space Force Base, located in Colorado Springs, CO, is part of Space Base Delta 1 and is a major hub for missile and space research and development. You will collaborate with other missile defense experts - military, government civilians, and contractors from Axient and other companies. Our team of experts helps the Government manage planning, development and delivery of state-of-the art sensors, weapons, communications, and command/control systems. What are your specific duties? - The C3BM Infrastructure Engineer Integrator will support the Missile Defense Agency Command & Control, Battle Management & Communications Program Office. The candidate will collaborate with Missile Defense System (MDS) stakeholders to prepare C2BMC engineering products as part of the interoperability objectives documentation and analysis processes for systems under test. Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) systems engineering efforts include engaging in Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) technical engineering and integration, future concepts, new functionality, and multi-national exchange designs as they apply to the Continuous Test Bed (CTB). Other activities include participation in engineering meetings, presenting engineering product development updates, providing analysis and failure review summaries, and making recommendations. Responsibilities Include: * Provide interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance for C2BMC, MDS Elements, and external capability integration and interface design efforts between MDA/BC, BC contractors, and MDS Elements. * Provide lead duties for developing, integrating, engineering, testing, training, cyber security, and event readiness for C2BMC Test Bed and associated infrastructure at the MDIOC. * As required, support C2BMC operations worldwide. * Support the CTB Chair for requirements, design, and verification reviews and audits. * Support program and budgetary preparations and reviews * Work with many stakeholders to prioritize CTB simultaneous activities Qualifications Required Skills and Experience: * Education: Master's degree in a STEM related field * Experience: 12 years of relevant experience * Active DoD Secret security clearance, which requires US Citizenship * Familiarity with MDA/Government engineering processes/databases * Familiarity with Agile Software Development processes and product development timelines * Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or C3BM Program Office work efforts * Proficiency in system engineering and execution processes * Apply network engineering and solutions to support real-world test, integration, and operations * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment Desire Skills and Experience: * Develop and present reports and presentations to senior management-level personnel; exceptional written and verbal skills required * Work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, prime contractor, sub-contractor and supporting contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment * Ability to work independently within a dynamic environment * Military experience is a plus Salary for this position is $112,000 to $147,000 Must meet applicable COVID safety requirements and protocols
