KPS Global is looking for a Field Service Technician, to join our Construction Services department.
Required SkillsThe Field Service Tech provides technical field service and installation assistance for walk-in coolers and freezers and plays a big part in KPS Global’s ability to offer excellent service to customers.
- Performing and assisting with installations and service of walk-in coolers and freezers
- Communicating with customers in the field
- Complying with customer demands
- Ensuring a safe working environment
- Taking field measurements and photos for inside sales to use for quoting projects
- Promoting products and services in the field
- High School Diploma
- 1 – 3 years of related experience; 2 – 3 years of field experience preferred
- Working knowledge of laptop, smart phone, small hand and electronic tools
- Advanced carpentry skills and basic knowledge of refrigeration systems, including some troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to professionally communicate with customers and effectively capture, organize
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be comfortable standing, climbing, and walking for the majority of the time
- Must be comfortable walking in air-conditioned and non air-conditioned areas
