DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
The goal of this position is to oversee daily field, yard, and shop operations, ensuring all are managed
and performed efficiently and effectively. The Director of Operations is responsible for developing and
supporting field leaders and their crews.
Everyone’s function within the company requires team members to be cooperative and helpful to the rest
of the team. It is expected that each member of the team will assist others and that respect and

Experience/Education/Requirements
Description of Duties

o Develop and use advanced planning skills for establishing productivity of manpower,
equipment, etc. to ensure projects start within required timelines
o Schedule all manpower for production crews
o Understanding of current and upcoming project schedule
o Anticipate and react to inclement weather events
with Human Resource Manager/Safety Manager in accordance with company policy; oversee
disciplinary meetings and terminations
