Korellis Roofing is Hiring a Remote Marketing Specialist

Do you enjoy being creative and crafting stories to sell a brand? Do you enjoy developing engaging
content for a variety of avenues? Are you an out-of-the-box thinker with a knack for implementing
marketing strategies?

The goal of this position is to oversee, coordinate, and execute the plan for Korellis’ external and internal
marketing.

Everyone’s function within the company requires team members to be cooperative and helpful to the rest of the

Education/Experience/Requirements

  • Successful pre-hire and ongoing drug and background screenings
• High school diploma or higher
  • Two years of applicable experience in website management, social media management, and/or

marketing; portfolio of relevant previous projects/accounts preferred

Description of Duties

  • Website management and development
  • Create content and manage social media; maintain regular posting schedule
  • Create biweekly Constant Contact marketing emails; maintain distribution list
  • Write and distribute press releases
  • Complete award nomination forms
  • Maintain and update “The Korellis Way” presentation
  • Plan, coordinate, and promote all annual employee events
  • Coordinate annual George & Harriet Roofing Scholarship process and award dinner
  • Communicate and promote additional scholarship opportunities
  • Administer the website shopping site and Korellis cash
  • Maintain onsite Korellis apparel inventory for employee purchases and giveaways
  • Prepare and email job progress photos; pull sheet metal reports daily
  • Draft various online, print, and multimedia brochures, flyers, proposal packages, etc.
  • Assist third-party marketing consultant with collateral, goal setting, prospect demographics, etc.
  • Maintain employee-centric atmosphere by sending cards/gifts for applicable occasions
  • Create and distribute Korellis newsletter bi-monthly
  • Maintain and update media players
  • Assist Human Resource Manager with job opening advertising; post and promote employment
opportunities; continually revise job descriptions to attract talent to Korellis as an “Employer of Choice”
  • Identify and recommend improvements and modifications to existing programs and additional or new
marketing strategies and opportunities
  • Answer telephones and direct appropriately
  • Backup to Office Administrator for welcoming and directing onsite visitors
  • Attend required company meetings
  • Represent the company in a professional manner
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Support the company’s safety policy
  • Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Skills and Personal Attributes

  • Understanding of and ability to implement marketing strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize varying demands
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge of social media platforms/algorithms and understanding of metrics/insights
  • Proficient in website administration, coding, and backend development (Wordpress or similar)
  • Proficient in Adobe platforms or similar for content and graphic creation
