Koller Craft LLC-Gadsden is Hiring a Human Resources Near GADSDEN, AL

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Monitor associate Time & Attendance daily for payroll purposes.
  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance as directed by Corporate Human Resources Department.
  • Recruits, interviews, schedule pre-employment drug screening & physicals, and selects employees to fill vacant positions and coordinates the onboarding procedure.
  • Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals and enroll into time clock if necessary.
  • Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance, 401K, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations, and employee statistics.
  • Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment in accordance with company policy.
  • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs include, but not limited to, benefits & leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance talent management; productivity, recognition & morale; and occupational health and safety.
  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.
  • Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
  • Coordinator of Safety in the workplace. Duties include assessing safety, enforcing safety standards and educating employees
  • Monitors area companies within labor market to insure competitive wage rate.
  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation.
  • Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
  • Represents organization as required at local civic events, employment fairs, & assist with plant tours.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate Degree in similar field and/or minimum of two years related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with computerized online human resource information system
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
