Deli Coordinator - Destination Kohler

Opportunity

The Deli Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the department offers the highest quality products and customer service. This role will be responsible for inventory, storing items orderly and rotating stock accordingly, marking and labeling stock items. This role will work closely with the Deli Manager and department staff to ensure the success of the department and maintaining a high standard of product offering and customer service excellence. 

Specific Responsibilities

• Exceptional Deli knowledge with good understanding of food preparation.
• Outstanding merchandising skills and utmost familiarity with deli menu, services, and products. 
• Responsible for departmental inventory management. 
• Maintains high-quality standards in product presentation. 
• Executes Deli Department merchandising and displays. 
• Readily participates in product promotions and focuses.
• Provides outstanding customer service and readily communicates product information to increase sales and best service customers. 
• Participates in physical inventories and practices inventory control. 
• Prevents internal and external loss. 
• Create and maintain procedures for deli production and quality control. 
• Train staff on correct proportioning of foods and safe food handling procedures. 
• Supervise slicing operations and proper use of safety measures. 
• Create daily and seasonal menus for all aspects of Deli, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Skills/Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency required, college degree preferred. 
• Minimum one year grocery experience preferred. 
• Exceptional customer service skills. 
• Strong communication skills. 
• Excellent time management and organizational skills. 
• Proven ability to positively affect sales generation. 
• Able to work a flexible schedule. 
• Must be 18 years of age.
