Job Summary:

Kodak Alaris is looking for a US&C Benefits Specialist to join our global HR team to focus on our benefits programs in North America.

This role is responsible for managing day-to-day workflows, processes, and special projects related to Kodak Alaris' health and welfare programs in the US and Canada. In addition, this person will be responsible for supporting our global HR system, vendor management, compliance, benefit communications, wellness and workers compensation.

This is a hybrid role. The individual will be required to work approximately 10% of time at our Rochester Site.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the administration of U.S. and Canada benefit plans – medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, life, spending accounts, workers compensation, 401k, and voluntary benefits
  • Develop and administer the U.S.and Canada wellness programs, as well as contribute to the development and execution of the Kodak Alaris global wellness strategy
  • Oversee and administer all functional aspects of the benefits portal in our Global HR System, Dayforce (Ceridian)
  • Manage the benefit billing process including self-billing, billing audits, and timely payment of invoices
  • Support annual benefit renewals, policy changes, vendor changes and new program implementations, working closely with external vendors, HR operations and payroll
  • Administer/support ADA requests, State Paid FMLA programs, COBRA, and all other state FMLA and leave programs
  • Manage/oversee carrier integrations/file feeds
  • Administer new employee benefit enrollments, changes and separations in the organization
  • Complete required audits, compliance tasks and reporting inclusive of ACA reporting (1094/1095 filings)
  • Monitor the US&C HR Mailbox and resolve benefit related queries and issues that are submitted as well as direct other employment questions to the appropriate subject matter expert
  • Act as a subject matter expert for benefits plans, policies and offerings, ensuring accurate, comprehensive and timely support and communication to employees
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files, records, and documentation
  • Process simplification/improvement - Make recommendations for improvements to our current processes.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business, finance, or related discipline
  • 3 years of experience in administering a range of benefits programs
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex information in easy to understand terms to different audiences
  • Good organizational skills, with a sharp focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, creative problem solving and follow through skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with managers and other HR team members
  • High degree of tact, discretion, and professionalism when dealing with internal and external customers and in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Possess the drive to continuously improve and look for opportunities to simplify processes to achieve operational efficiency and optimize the employee experience
  • Strong IT skills are essential, including a good level of proficiency in Excel
  • Although not essential, prior experience working with Ceridian Dayforce would be preferred.
