HR Works is supporting our client with its search for a Hybrid Benefits and Leave Specialist. This role is hybrid, and is located in Rochester, NY (west side). The role has a salary range of $55,000-$63,000. This is a Direct Placement Opportunity.

The Benefits and Leave Specialist will assist in the development, implementation, administration, and coordination of employee benefits, and employee leaves of absence programs, practices and policies. This includes, but is not limited to directly administering and providing ongoing support to: medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, and retirement plan administration, FMLA, PFL, and disability leaves. The ideal candidate for this opportunity has a strong understanding of benefits and leave administration and, with guidance, can work independently, with a high level of accuracy, while providing excellent customer service to internal customers and external vendors.

Required Qualifications:

• An associate's degree is required, a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 5 years of experience in Human Resources with at least 3 years of experience working directly with employee benefits, retirement plans, and leave administration; experience working with a large employer is strongly preferred but not required (1000 ).
