We are expanding our in-house creative team! Koch Communications Marketing is looking for a talented graphic designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations, in both print and digital media. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software, excel in logos and branding, be current on the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies, and can solve problems creatively and effectively. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the graphic designer should be able to take ideas and convert them into a design that meets customer expectations. What You Will Do
* Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative solutions that meet business goals
* Obtain input to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately
* Work independently as well as cooperatively with the team to meet deadlines
* Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or customers on a wide range of materials that may include logos, brand systems, tradeshow graphics, presentations, campaigns, and a range of other digital and print marketing materials
* Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using a content management system
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* 4 years of experience working as a graphic designer, either in agency or corporate environment
* Experience in leading vendors such as printers, photographers, illustrators, etc.
* Portfolio with a range of creative solutions that demonstrate a focus on solving customer needs
* Ability to understand and apply a creative strategy
* Proficient in the Creative Cloud Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Figma, etc.)
* Visual identity and logo design
What Will Put You Ahead
* A degree in graphic design or a related field
* Knowledge of Workfront, or a similar project management tool
* 3D design or Digital imaging and illustration
* Motion graphics or UI design
