POSITION SUMMARY
Exhibitus is seeking talented, motivated, and ambitious Graphic Designers to join the creative teams in Chicago and Atlanta. The successful candidates have a strong drive and passion for art, design, and technology while maintaining an understanding of real-world production and application for our clients’ brands. Experience in our industry is not an absolute requirement for this position.
Depending on the size and scope of the project, you may lead a team or be a team unto yourself.
WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING:
  • Gain a deep understanding of our client’s brand and build a strategy for creating impactful environments around that brand.
  • Ensure presentations deliver the objectives of the brief and articulate design solutions.
  • Rapidly generate ideas via sketches (digital or analog), research, and reference images.
  • Work comfortably alongside writers, video producers, and other members of the creative team to deliver a holistic creative solution.
  • Manage time and balance multiple projects.
  • Present your ideas eloquently and with poise and confidence to develop a partnership with our clients.
  • Communicate clear layouts for print production, art files, estimating, and production documentation.
  • Present and check in with the Creative Director throughout the duration of the project.
  • Inspire the team through energy and optimism, pushing the envelope to advance the program and its goals.
  • Work in a large, complex, collaborative environment while maintaining an independent mind.
  • Work well with outside agencies to support our work and as a partner.
  • Work directly with clients to understand audiences and communication needs and then be able to communicate those goals back to our team.
  • Pre-flight client graphic assets for full-scale production.
  • Support internal brand and marketing team.
  • Some traveling may be required.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • BFA in graphic design, exhibit design, user experience design, or equivalent
  • 0 - 5 years of industry experience
  • Understanding of digital and analog technologies, materials & techniques
  • Willingness to experiment with new processes and methods
  • Storytelling via storyboards
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills across all mediums
  • High performance/high productivity mentality
  • Mastery of design tools, including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, web design platforms, and social media
  • Animation capabilities a plus
  • Understanding of photography and image manipulation techniques
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a creative team
  • Excellent presentation skills (written, visual and verbal)
  • Excellent Organizational skills
  • Exceptional time management skills - balancing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and consistency.
