Knight Integration, LLC is Hiring a Low Voltage Technician Near Des Moines, IA

Knight Integration, a low voltage technology company, is looking to grow its work family. Located in Des Moines, Iowa and serving surrounding counties, Knight Integration prides itself in honesty, customer service, and industry knowledge.

Integrating both residential and commercial properties, we are looking for our next low voltage technician.

Qualifications:

  • Meeting and exceeding customer needs by being responsible and ensuring their equipment works properly
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Detail oriented
  • Driven by results and customer satisfaction
  • Time management skills and evaluating alternatives while troubleshooting equipment errors
  • Ability to succeed in both a team and individually assigned environment
  • Current or previous audio/video industry preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of Control4, Crestron, or equivalent technology products preferred, not required

Duties:

  • Install, service and program surveillance, home-automation equipment, A/V, alarm systems, hardwired and Wi-Fi networks, etc…
  • Interpret schematics and diagrams along with service order notes and follow instructions
  • Pull wires, connect components, test and trouble shoot equipment
  • Use with hand tools, power tools, scissor lifts, ladders,
  • Work directly with homeowners, building owners, project managers and Knight Integration staff
  • Attain and maintain alarm licensing, NICET and/or ESA certifications or equivalent
  • Possess or maintain other industry certifications
  • Ability to climb, crawl, lift, push, pull and carry up to 60 lbs
