Are you an adept professional in low voltage cabling seeking an exciting hands-on opportunity? Our client is currently seeking experienced Installation Technicians to bolster their team.

As a pivotal member of the installation crew, you will be entrusted with pivotal responsibilities including cable pulling, termination, and proficient handling of CAT5 or CAT6, as well as Fiber.

Your duties will also encompass dressing and distributing frames, ensuring seamless patching operations, and adhering to industry standards with precision.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Proficiently pull and install cables in accordance with industry benchmarks.
  • Execute precise termination of CAT5 or CAT6 cables and phone jacks.
  • Maintain organized cabling infrastructure through adept dressing and distribution frame management.
  • Skillfully patch and splice fiber optic cables, encompassing anaerobic terminations, SC, and LC connectors.
  • Interpret schematic and line diagrams for precise installation.
  • Conduct conduit running and cable bending as necessary, utilizing digital multi-meters for testing purposes.
  • Demonstrate troubleshooting acumen to promptly identify and resolve issues.
  • Implement rack and stack work for efficient cable management.

Requirements :

  • Proven track record in low voltage cabling, network cabling, and fiber optic installation.
  • Familiarity with prevailing industry standards.
  • Proficiency in cable pulling, connector termination, and fiber optics splicing.
  • Ability to accurately interpret schematic and line diagrams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptability to evolving project requirements.
  • Certification in relevant areas is advantageous.
